The challenges of the green transition in Sudan Who should fill the gap and how?
Public workshop on the occasion of Earth Day 2022, in cooperation between Housing and Land Rights Network – Habitat International Coalition and GoGreen Sudan.
Sudan is going through difficult transitional conditions, politically, economically and socially. This transition has seen the ineffectiveness of state institutions, which has led to the creation of a large rule-of-law gap, especially in the aspects related to environmental protection.
On the occasion of World Earth Day, Sudan seeks to shed light on the challenges facing environmental protection in these difficult circumstances and how to absorb and address these challenges. We also seek to present concepts related to who is responsible for filling this void in such circumstances and how?
Which brings to mind a fundamental question :
Are international laws and legislation related to climate justice the solution?!
The seminar presents these questions withJoseph Schechla, Coordinator of the international Housing and Land Rights Network–Habitat International Coalition
On Saturday, 23 April 2022, eight o`clock in the evening Sudan time via the Zoom.
We will be honored by your attendance.
