Brief narrative |
9-13 April 2002 • Bob Duncan, the farm manager, and the workers at Leopardvlei Farm were chased off the farm by Reward Marufu and other unnamed Zanu PF members. Duncan was locked in an office while all the keys and some personal property were removed by Marufu. Marufu then ordered Duncan to remove all his property from the house but later stole it from removal trucks that were being used to transport the property. The group also started harvesting standing crops and claimed all property on the farm as now belonging to them. The crop theft was reported to Bindura Police Station and recorded as case number RB 081276 | ||||||||
