Brief narrative

As in many other cases throughout Sudan, the Goverment of Sudan destroyed the houses of Sudanese IDPs in the area of (Soba al-Aradhi), in the capital of Sudan, Khartoum. The residents are people who immigrated from thier original homelands in the Nuba Mountains, elsewhere in southern Sudan and Darfur (conflict areas). More than 3,000 houses were destroyed and over 700 families are forced evicted, while over 30 persons killed by the police in resistance against the distruction of houses. Around 20,000 of from the indigenous people of (Nuba Mountains) were forced to leave thier houses, lost their properties, while some have migrated out the country due to the difficult situation they are facing. No solutions have been provided.
